I bought this bag as a way to add contrast to fall or winter outfits that are full of dark jewel tones or muted neutrals. I love the look of bright white, and the fact that the bottom of the bag is gray is an added bonus because it isn’t as prone to showing scuffs and dirt that accumulate from setting it down. The bag was especially useful when my dark navy jacket was added to the outfit. The oversized scarf added a good dose of pattern and helped tie the fuchsia top to the midnight blue pants.

Cobalt may be the color of the season, but my heart belongs to magenta. This color is one of the most versatile jewel tones, pairing beautifully with cool brights and warm tones equally well and adding richness to nearly any mix.
