Ahhh, two of my favorites in one outfit: Mixed neutrals and mixed metals. Throw in a little asymmetry, and I’m happy as can be. This tunic is sold out in black on the Karen Kane site, but there are still a few left at Zappos and the plus size version at 6pm. It’s a mid-weight knit that’s ideal for transitional weather, which is what we’re still having these days. Not complaining, though: 50 degrees is my temperature sweet spot. read more

I thrifted this jacket in Chicago around the holidays, and love it to bits. Most sweater jackets are either thick, structured cardigans or knit blazers. But this guy is a field jacket made from a non-felted sweater-knit. It’s more of a hybrid than a sweater jacket. More of a swacket, if you will. I wore it to LOTT Workshop 1 and felt cozily confident. read more
