I’ve been watching Cyn work her amazing collection of jumpsuits for years now, and she’s always looked so fantastically chic and happy in them. I stumbled upon this one while tracking down and item for an online style consult client, fell in love immediately, waited a couple of months, finagled a coupon code, and pounced. Although I doubt it will get weekly wear, I love how it fits and feels and if I throw a sweater over the top half it just looks like a pair of slouchy printed pants so it’s at least a little bit versatile. (Mine is a size Large and I’m typically a size 8 dress, so definitely runs small.) read more

I avoided the “stars and stripes” cliche and went right for the weather-focused one instead. Couldn’t even help it.

It was a balmy 75 degrees yesterday, but late last week we had this: Sleet, ice, and about 8 inches of snow. And that’s spring in the Midwest for ya. I have grand plans to pile all of my remaining snow-on-the-ground outfits into a marathon Saturday post, but fear that doing so will bring a blizzard upon us. I’ll probably do it anyway. I’m happy to be the scapegoat for this fickle weather. read more
