It’s been a while since I did a necklace pile, but once I got going with this outfit it was hard to stop. Everything else felt marvelously tomboyish, so gobs of rhinestones created the perfect balance. I wore this for a cozy girls’ night in chatting with a dear friend. read more

So chartreuse. It’s the color that got made fun of THE MOST when I was growing up. I mean, for one, it’s a pretty amusing word to say. For another, the 70s had just ended and I think a lot of people – my parents included – were suffering from chartreuse overload. But right now, I’m loving this acid tone and fascinated by how well it works with a variety of other colors. I feel like it’s been a color underdog for so long, and is finally getting some love from the style world. read more
