For last week’s Fox 9 Morning Show segment, I talked about wearing winter white, a trend that I hadn’t really explored myself. I always try to wear an example of what I’m explaining, and was delighted to find that I actually had pieces that constituted a white suit already in my closet! Having seen this trend in action and noted that adding non-bright tones to the mix help, I threw in my oatmeal tee and a few chain and snakeskin accents. read more

Oh, I felt very mod indeed in this ensemble. Maybe even a little bit Audrey Hepburn, which almost never happens to me. I feel far to clumsy and goofy to think of myself as gamine. But the newly-trimmed sideburns, ankle-length leggings, and leopard wedges got me as close as I may ever get to gamine! read more

Three of the biggest, most popular Minneapolis art fairs all take place on the first weekend of August. That’d be the weekend that concluded yesterday, for those keeping score. I nabbed this belt and another in a different color from Tom Thomas, a vendor who cut it to size right there in his booth. Gotta love THAT. read more
