I suggested this outfit in a recent StarTribune article about dressing up LBDs for the holidays, and liked it so much I decided to recreate it for a party I was throwing. By myself. In my home office. With my cats and my laptop. I love the idea of party-ready ensembles that include flats – like these – but while this outfit definitely has some fun and festive touches, it’s low-key enough to wear on a workday. A few short months ago, I feared print mixing. Now I’m having so much fun throwing multiple prints into my outfits, that I’m not sure I’ll ever turn back.
