We do a lot of art fairing during the summer, and this season I met up with not one but TWO jewelry designers that I’ve admired for ages. I’ve stalked Kali Butterfly on Etsy for many years, but could never commit to a piece somehow. When I finally got a chance to handle Vanessa’s wares in person, I was surprised that this long pendant was what jumped out at me, but I love it completely. She showed me how it can be doubled up and worn short, but I adore the unexpected length. (Will divulge the other designer when I get a chance to wear my other new necklace!) read more

I’m pretty sure that the last time I wore this poncho, I paired it with cargo crops. Because, ya know, ponchos and cargo crops go together like peanut butter and jelly.

It was a gloriously warm, sunny day today, and I was thrilled. I’m itching to wrap myself in boots and sweaters, of course, but I’ve also got several pairs of killer sandals that have sat neglected all summer and this last burst of warmth is allowing me to trot them out.
